Cleaning Tips

After years of cleaning experience, we have some great cleaning tips to share with you all!

Stain Removal Guide

Red Wine

Sprinkle salt over the spot to absorb any remaining liquid. Then pour boiling water over the stain to flush the area.

Ink

Dab nail polish remover onto the stain with a cotton ball or swab, and continue to work at the spot until it’s no longer visible.

Tomato Sauce & Ketchup

Flush the spot with cold water and work laundry detergent in using a soft brush. If the stain remains after rinsing, apply white vinegar.

Coffee

Pour club soda on the spot and gently work into the fabric. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse. Repeat if necessary.

Blood

Soak fresh stains in cold water, then wash as usual. If the stain remains or is not fresh, dab on hydrogen peroxide.

Chocolate

Pre-treat the stain with vinegar and let sit for 5 minutes. Then flush the stain with a mixture of 3 cups water, and 1 tbsp of dish soap.

Scorch Marks

Cover the stain with dish soap and work in with a soft brush. Wash as normal, checking to ensure the stain is gone before drying.

Chewing Gum

Freeze gum to make it easier to scrape off. Treat the spa with dish soap and vinegar. Let’s say for 15 minutes. Wash as usual.

Deodorant & Sweat

Apply vinegar directly on the stain and rub it in before washing.

Grass

Mix one bar vinegar and two parts of water and work into the stain with a soft brush.

Grease & Oil

For marks on white fabric, dab the area with hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 1 minute before rinsing well. For colored fabric, apply vinegar.

Lipstick & Makeup

Soak a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol and gently rub the stain away.
