Stain Removal Guide

Red Wine
Sprinkle salt over the spot to absorb any remaining liquid. Then pour boiling water over the stain to flush the area.

Ink
Dab nail polish remover onto the stain with a cotton ball or swab, and continue to work at the spot until it’s no longer visible.

Tomato Sauce & Ketchup
Flush the spot with cold water and work laundry detergent in using a soft brush. If the stain remains after rinsing, apply white vinegar.

Coffee
Pour club soda on the spot and gently work into the fabric. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse. Repeat if necessary.

Blood
Soak fresh stains in cold water, then wash as usual. If the stain remains or is not fresh, dab on hydrogen peroxide.

Chocolate
Pre-treat the stain with vinegar and let sit for 5 minutes. Then flush the stain with a mixture of 3 cups water, and 1 tbsp of dish soap.

Scorch Marks
Cover the stain with dish soap and work in with a soft brush. Wash as normal, checking to ensure the stain is gone before drying.

Chewing Gum
Freeze gum to make it easier to scrape off. Treat the spa with dish soap and vinegar. Let’s say for 15 minutes. Wash as usual.

Deodorant & Sweat
Apply vinegar directly on the stain and rub it in before washing.

Grass
Mix one bar vinegar and two parts of water and work into the stain with a soft brush.

Grease & Oil
For marks on white fabric, dab the area with hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 1 minute before rinsing well. For colored fabric, apply vinegar.

Lipstick & Makeup
Soak a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol and gently rub the stain away.
